Duplicate: Where do you assign tasks for Contractors/Vendors?

We are trying to limit our license count for budget reasons. Where do you assign or how do you manage contractors/vendors tasks? Since they are not assigned to one of our Technicians….how do you process/manage them? Examples would be Roofer, Contract Welder, Door/Locksmith, HVAC Tech. We try to get a list together then call them in for one visit rather than for individual repairs.
