Overview
Customers performing bulk asset updates want clearer, more visually prominent progress feedback. The current progress bar appears offset to the right and occupies only part of the page width, making it difficult to monitor the update status—especially during large data operations.
Current Limitations
• The progress bar is right-aligned and visually minimized.
• It uses only about half of the available page width.
• Users can easily miss the visual cue during long-running operations.
• The bar’s placement and size reduce clarity on the operation progress.
General Example
When initiating a bulk asset update for hundreds of records, the progress bar appears off-center and only halfway across the screen. Users must look closely to notice it, making it hard to confirm whether the process is active or stalled.
Requested Enhancements
- Center the bulk update progress bar horizontally on the page for visual balance.
- Expand the progress bar to occupy the full available width of the container or viewport.
- Increase color contrast or thickness for better visibility.
- Optionally include a clear textual progress indicator (e.g., “Updating 245/1,200 assets”).
Business Value
• Improves clarity and confidence during bulk operations.
• Reduces user uncertainty about system activity or completion status.
• Enhances professional appearance and overall UX consistency.
• Low-effort UI change that provides high visibility improvement across large-scale workflows.
