Map it out: Some Directions for Your Directions
The mapping feature in Limble is great once you starting using it but taking the first step can be disorienting. Here are the ways I’ve mapped out our campus that might help point you in the right direction (I won’t use any more mapping puns, I promise). Buildings/Rooms This was the first thing I mapped out when I got…

QR Codes in Action
I’ve seen lots of questions about QR codes so I thought I would post a little about how we use them in case it generates any ideas for others. Student Room WO Requests To make it easier for students to quickly submit work requests we used Avery labels and printed out a code for every room on campus. This isn’t too bad once…

Asset Hierarchy
I have equipment (asset) that contains components that we regularly rebuild (hydraulic cylinders). I chose to make the hydraulic cylinders an asset so that I could associate the seal component part numbers to the asset level. This works very nicely to keep track of the component parts. I can write a work order to rebuild…

Suggestions on attaching QR Codes to assets??
Being a brewery we have lots of hot /cold as well as water and chemicals that can get splashed around. Any suggestions for a good way to put QR Codes on everything? I was thinking maybe some sort of sticker / vinyl. But would love to hear what others have done in their space!! Thanks, Matt A

#TipTuesday - Teams
One of my favorite, sneakily powerful, features in Limble is Teams and I highly recommend them to all the accounts that I work with. Teams are a location based option that allows the creation of groups that cut across Roles and make task management much easier. For example, when configuring your work request portal Teams…

Vendor Setup
How did you setup your vendors that have multiple contacts? For example, I have a parts contact, a service contact & sales contact. Did you create multiple fields in a singular vendor? I'm leaning towards filling out the required vendor information with the vendors generic contact info, then creating seperate fields for…

How do you manage work in the planning process?
I'm trying to figure out how to identify where a WO is in the planning process in Limble. I want to be able to easily see what WOs have been planned and are ready for execution, WOs that are in the planning queue, and what work orders has the work has been done and are ready for the planner to capture the feedback.
