Overview
Customers want to view cost data for a specific task directly within a custom dashboard. Currently, users can add widgets that show cost summaries, but cannot isolate results to one task without extensive filtering. This enhancement would allow focused visibility into the cost performance of a single task.
Current Limitations
• Dashboard widgets do not support direct selection of a single task.
• Users must manually apply complex filters each time they want to isolate a task.
• List widgets and cost widgets cannot display the total cost for an individual task without additional setup.
General Example
A maintenance manager creates a dashboard to monitor the total cost of a critical repair task. The widget currently displays multiple tasks instead of just the one being tracked, requiring repeated manual filtering.
Requested Enhancements
- Add a widget configuration option to select a specific task by Task ID or name.
- Enable automatic cost aggregation for the selected task (labor, parts, etc.).
- Allow users to save this configuration so the widget always reflects that single task’s cost.
- Support visual indicators (e.g., status or total spend) for quick review.
