Overview
Users are experiencing difficulty locating specific parts when filtering parts within a task due to long dropdown lists that require manual scrolling. Adding search, sorting, or secondary filtering within these dropdowns would significantly improve efficiency and usability when working with large parts catalogs.
Current Limitations
• Filter dropdowns for parts within a task display long lists of values with no search capability.
• Users must manually scroll through all available custom field values to find the desired part.
• Once a filter is applied, users cannot further refine, sort, or search within the filtered results.
General Example
A technician filtering parts in a task by a custom field (e.g., Part Category or Location) must scroll through dozens or hundreds of values to find the correct option, slowing down task completion and increasing frustration.
