Enable full lifecycle tracking of parts, including condition (new vs used), serial numbers, and rebuild workflows to support cost analysis and traceability.
Current Limitations
• No differentiation between new and used parts
• No serial number tracking
• Rebuilt parts cannot be tracked or analyzed
• Parts cannot function as trackable entities like assets
General Example
A rebuilt component is returned to inventory, but there is no way to track its history, usage, or cost savings compared to a new replacement.
