Overview
More flexible sorting and layout control is needed in the Asset and Part tabs. Users should be able to add more fields without the view automatically shrinking everything to fit the screen. Each field should be individually resizable, with a bottom horizontal scroll bar available to navigate fields that extend off-screen. Sorting should also support drag-and-drop grouping and advanced multi-criteria sorting so users can organize records by fields such as Manufacturer, Model, Location, Status, or other asset and part attributes.
Current Limitations
• Adding more fields causes the visible layout to resize within the available screen width, making fields harder to read and manage.
