Overview
The customer needs the ability to filter or select parts by a custom field when adding items to a Purchase Order. This would allow users to quickly narrow the available parts list based on business-specific attributes already stored on the part record.
Current Limitations
• The PO part selection screen currently provides filters such as Parts Associated With Vendor, Understocked Parts, and Parts Without Open PO.
• Custom part fields are not available as filtering criteria.
• Users with large part inventories must manually search or review parts instead of filtering by workflow-specific data.
General Example
A customer uses a custom field on parts to identify a category, department, location, or other internal designation. When creating a PO, they want to filter the available parts using that custom field so only relevant parts are displayed.
