Overview
Users need to see the complete financial cost of a task directly from the task instead of building a dashboard or report to determine its total cost.
Current Limitations
• Task #12345 has Parts and Labor costs associated with it.
• The Total report shows values such as Parts: $4,320.81, Labor: $1,236.33, and Total: $5,557.14.
• The same summarized financial information is not readily available directly on the task.
• Users must leave the task and use reporting/dashboard functionality to answer a basic question: “What did this task cost?”
General Example
A manager reviewing completed Task #44520 wants to know the total maintenance cost. Instead of opening the task and seeing the total, they must build or access a separate Total report on the Custom Dashboard page to calculate Parts + Labor.
