Overview
Customers should be able to merge applicable work requests/work orders regardless of their current work classification, while preserving the complete work history from both records. A merge should consolidate duplicate or related work into a single record without causing previously entered operational data to be lost.
Current Limitations
• Both records may need to be converted to the same work classification before they can be merged.
• Information from the target record, including logged time, comments, pictures, and other work history, may be lost during the merge.
• Parts added to the target work order may not transfer to the surviving work order.
