Description
When editing numeric values such as a Purchase Order rate, attempting to select only part of the number can result in the entire value becoming selected. This makes precise edits unnecessarily difficult and increases the chance of replacing the wrong portion of the value.
Steps to Recreate
- Open a Purchase Order containing a numeric rate.
- Click into the rate field.
- Drag with the mouse to select only part of the existing value.
- Release the mouse button.
- Observe that the field may select the entire numeric value rather than preserving the intended selection.
Expected Result
The field should preserve the exact portion of the number selected by the user so that only those digits can be replaced.
