Overview
When a Purchase Order cannot proceed because of an invalid quantity, the customer wants Limble to identify the exact affected line and explain what is wrong rather than displaying a generic quantity warning.
Current Limitations
• Validation can state that a quantity is required even when a quantity is already populated.
• The affected line item is not clearly identified.
• Invalid values are not always visually highlighted.
• Users with large POs must manually inspect many lines to find the problem.
• Hovering over the field may provide more useful validation than the primary workflow error.
General Example
A 25-line PO contains one invalid quantity. Selecting “Start Next Step” produces a general quantity message, requiring the user to inspect the PO line by line to identify the affected item.
