Overview
When users paste content into the Work Request Portal’s “How can we help?” field from applications such as Microsoft Teams, Limble currently retains formatting and hidden characters. This can cause the field to exceed the 1,000-character limit even though the visible text appears to be well below the limit. The customer wants pasted content to be treated as plain text automatically.
Current Limitations
• Standard Ctrl+V can retain formatting and hidden characters from external applications.
• Hidden formatting appears to count toward the 1,000-character limit even though users cannot see those characters.
• Users can receive a “description cannot exceed 1000 characters” error while the visible text appears substantially shorter.
