Overview
The customer wants Limble to protect manually entered pricing during the Purchase Order workflow. Currently, if a user enters a rate first and then selects or changes the vendor, Limble can automatically replace the manually entered rate with the part/vendor price. The customer expects either the manual rate to remain unchanged or Limble to explicitly ask before overwriting it.
Current Limitations
• A manually entered PO rate can be replaced when the vendor is selected or changed.
• The overwrite happens automatically without warning or confirmation.
• Users may not notice that the price has changed after they already entered the intended cost.
