Asset Hierarchy

I have equipment (asset) that contains components that we regularly rebuild (hydraulic cylinders). I chose to make the hydraulic cylinders an asset so that I could associate the seal component part numbers to the asset level. This works very nicely to keep track of the component parts. I can write a work order to rebuild the cylinder and be able to assign the correct seals to the task.

The problem I am facing is that I don't see a way to do this with the sub asset (cylinder) when replacing it as part of a work order for its parent Asset. I keep a couple cylinders on hand and would like to find a way to pull those into a work order task.
