Enhancement Request: Shared Document & Image Repository Across Assets

Users need the ability to reuse documents and images across multiple assets without uploading the same file multiple times. A shared document management system, similar to a lightweight SharePoint model, would reduce redundancy and streamline documentation efforts.

Current Limitations

• Files must be uploaded separately to each asset, creating duplication and storage bloat.
• There is no centralized location to store and manage documents or images that are relevant to multiple assets or use cases.
• Lack of linking capabilities increases the risk of inconsistencies between file versions across the system.

General Example

• A warranty document or compliance certificate applies to a series of machines. Today, users must upload the same document to each machine's asset card separately, leading to versioning headaches and wasted time.
